Having seen the spiritual beauty of Pushkar, the tour goes to Jodhpur, the Blue City where great forts, palaces and old streets exhibit the real royal culture of Rajasthan. Day 1: Arrival in Ranthambore – Relax & Enjoy Nature

After arriving at Ranthambore, you will be received and taken to your hotel or wildlife resort. Once you have checked in, have some time and relax and enjoy the serene environment. Ranthambore has the beautiful natural environment, green landscapes, and peaceful atmosphere, so it is the right place to start the journey.

During the night, you may take a stroll in the resort premises, have a hot cup of tea and breathe the cool jungle air. There are also numerous small activities that can be performed in many resorts such as nature walks or wildlife documentaries during which you can get to know more about animals that can be found in Ranthambore. Day 2: Ranthambore Jungle Safari – Move to Pushkar

It starts off early in the morning when you are ready to go on the renowned Ranthambore Jungle Safari. A jeep or canter will drive you deep into the jungle and you will be able to see various animals such as sambar deer, spotted deer, peacocks, crocodiles, leopards and with a bit of luck, the royal Bengal Tiger. The safari also brings you close to the beautiful lakes within the forest and gives you a great view of the historic Ranthambore Fort.

The safari will be followed by a visit back to your hotel where you will have breakfast and rest. Then leave and begin your trip to Pushkar which is about a few hours away. Upon arrival at Pushkar, have a quick rest in your hotel. During the evening, go to the serene Pushkar Lake where numerous worshippers carry out rituals and prayers. You can sit close to the ghats, enjoy the sunset and have a peaceful atmosphere. Overnight stay in Pushkar.

 

Day 3: Pushkar Sightseeing – Travel to Jodhpur

Your sightseeing in Pushkar starts after the breakfast. The first place you should visit is the popular Brahma Temple that is among the few temples in the world that are devoted to Lord Brahma. The temple is a significant place of pilgrimage and its distinctive architecture is also famous. And once you have been in the temple, you may take a stroll through the colourful and narrow streets around the ghats.

Pushkar Market is laden with handicrafts, leather bags, silver jewellery, handmade and Rajasthani clothes. It is an excellent shopping destination of gifts and souvenirs. The small town has a spiritual atmosphere and is ideal to take a leisurely walk in the morning.

Later in the afternoon, leave your hotel and head to Jodhpur. Once in the city, you will begin to notice blue-coloured houses which make Jodhpur to be called the Blue City. Once you arrive at your hotel, have dinner and sleep. During the evenings, you may visit the Clock Tower Market that is bustling and with spices, handicrafts, dry fruits and local snacks. Take a break in the congenial environment and head back to your hotel where you can have a nice stay.

 

Day 4: Jodhpur City Tour – Explore the Blue City

Take a breakfast in the hotel and start Jodhpur sightseeing tour. Your initial destination will be the great Mehrangarh Fort which is among the most beautiful forts in India. The fort is erected on a hill, which offers a spectacular view of the whole Blue City. Within the fort, there are royal rooms, ancient paintings, arms, courtyards and museums that demonstrate the rich history of the Rajput rulers.

Secondly, you will go to Jaswant Thada, which is also referred to as the Taj Mahal of Marwar. This is a serene white marble memorial that has a beautiful garden and is a good place to have a rest and take photos. Following this, you will visit Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum where royal things, old photographs and old cars that were used by Maharajas are on display.

During the evening, you can walk across the local markets or have the traditional Rajasthani food in a restaurant. It is beautiful in the city when it is sunset and the streets are alive with music, food and colourful shops. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

 

Day 5: Jodhpur Drop – Tour Ends with Beautiful Memories

It is the final day of your Wildlife and Heritage Tour of Rajasthan. Breakfast, then leave your hotel. You can either walk around the area or purchase some last minute souvenirs depending on the time you leave. You will then be put at the Jodhpur railway station or airport where you will continue your journey.
