Whether you’re traveling by flight or train from Bangalore, Gurvinder Tours ensures a well-balanced mix of sightseeing, leisure, shopping, and cultural experiences. For five unforgettable days, you'll discover Jaipur's best sites from Amer Fort to Hawa Mahal, from serene temples to vibrant markets without compromising on warm Rajasthani hospitality.

Day 1: Bangalore to Jaipur Departure and Jaipur Arrival

Your pilgrimage starts when you take a flight or train from Bangalore to Jaipur. On arrival in Jaipur, the Pink City greets you with its royal and warm welcome. You will be picked up from the railway station or airport and will be checked into your hotel.

After resting for a while, you can spend the evening with the first touch of Jaipur by visiting a nearby local market around your hotel. Strolling around nearby handicraft shops, block-printed items, and street food. Alternatively, you can go to a local auditorium and see a cultural folk dance performance or have a traditional Rajasthani meal at a heritage restaurant. A relaxed and light beginning to your journey in Jaipur. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Explore the Forts in Jaipur

Begin the day with a scrumptious Rajasthani breakfast, and depart for a day of unashamed sightseeing. Your morning begins at the regal Amer Fort, perched atop a hill a distance of approximately 11 km away from the city. The fort is a master work of Rajput architecture, with grand courtyards, mirrored halls, and beautifully painted ceilings. Sheesh Mahal, Diwan-e-Aam, and Sukh Niwas are the cream of the crop within the fort. You may ride an elephant up to the fort gate, or take a jeep drive for convenience.

Then proceed to Jaigarh Fort, which is nearby on the Aravalli hills. This fort was famous for its powerful defense and contained one of the largest guns in the world, the Jaivana. You get a good view of the city from here. Then proceed to Nahargarh Fort, which was also a retreat place for the royal family. The view of sunset here is one of the prettiest views of Jaipur. Return to the city in the evening for dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 3: Palaces, Monuments, and Local Markets

Following breakfast, start the day with a visit to the famous City Palace, the residence of the royal family. The palace compound has some museums that exhibit the royal attire, weapons, and paintings, as well as vintage photographs. Jantar Mantar, the renowned astronomical observatory with humongous instruments that were used to survey the stars and planets, lies next to the palace.

Then stop by Hawa Mahal, or Palace of Winds, possibly Jaipur's most emblematic landmark. This five-story palace with more than 900 diminutive windows was constructed so harem ladies could observe street festivities without being noticed. The pink sandstone palace seems particularly magnificent under dawn light.

After lunch, proceed to the crowded shopping alleys of Johari Bazaar, Tripolia Bazaar, and Bapu Bazaar. Here, you can purchase traditional Rajasthani jewelry, colored bangles, mojari shoes, hand-printed clothes, and souvenirs. In the evening, you can also have dinner at Chokhi Dhani, an ethnic village resort that offers cultural shows, folk music, camel rides, and a rich Rajasthani thali. Drive back to the hotel and rest for the night.

Day 4: Explore the Temples and Museums of Jaipur

Start your fourth day with a spiritual touch. Walk towards the gorgeous Birla Mandir, constructed completely of pure white marble and devoted to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. The peaceful ambiance and stunning carvings make it a serene experience. Then go to the Govind Dev Ji Temple, one of the most significant Krishna temples of Jaipur, where morning and evening aartis are offered with great devotion.

Lastly, take a trip to the Albert Hall Museum, Rajasthan's largest museum. Indo-Saracenic architecture and a display of rare collectibles, paintings, sculptures, and even an Egyptian mummy make this worth engaging the art enthusiast and history buff.

Afternoon, you can relax in the peaceful gardens of Ram Niwas Garden or visit the Galtaji Temple, or the Monkey Temple, located at the edge of Jaipur. Built on top of rocky hills, this sacred site of pilgrimage is renowned for its natural water springs and beautiful pavilions. Evening return to the hotel and enjoy your final night in Jaipur.

Day 5: Leisure Morning and Return to Bangalore

On your last day, have a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Spend the morning indulging in some last-minute shopping or exploring the old Jaipur city streets, looking at the pink buildings and the crowds of locals. If you have an evening return, you can also head to Sargasuli Tower, which is a ancient watchtower with a 360-degree view of the city.

While going out, you will be escorted to Jaipur Airport or Railway Station in order to further pursue your journey towards Bangalore. Take back memories of a vibrant city full of colours, history, culture, and warmth.
